Woolly buggers seem to be on the agenda for the team the last couple days and swinging on the Tongariro has been proving a good method for targeting those more desirable fresh rainbows. Gabe recently landed a few fatties on an Olive Woolly Bugger.
Last night I shot out for a night fish on my birthday and found success on the river mouths stripping a black woolly bugger with a lumo body. We have recently restocked the range of buggers here and Teresa has been busy tying plenty of gold beaded olive woolly buggers for the shelf which are a staple here on the Tongariro.
