Tongariro River Flow: 26.6m3/sec Weather: Blue Skies sun shining. Reports of fresh fish in the Tongariro continue to grow.
Josh has been doing some amazing fishing both in the river and on the lake. Both fish from the lake & the river have been in good condition, hens have been found with almost fully developed eggs. Fish seem to be waiting to come up the river at the stream/river mouths, all we need is some good rain!!
When swinging in the river Olive & Brown Woolley Buggers seems to have great success, as well as indicator fishing with small nymphs. We also have plenty of fly tying material to prepare you for winter!
