Another cold start though milder compared yesterday's brutal bite, with the breeze significantly calmer than it has been in a while. It's the perfect day for an adventure on the Central North Island or a day on the water! Those sunny days we longed for in the summer months certainly arrived for winter though we are far from making a complaint 😀 it sounds like many others from outside the region are happy to find some blue skies, so we welcome you all to town!
Once again if you're finding the catching hard/slow going and you feel there's room for improvement (there always is 😉) then pop on in for advice!

Aside from the indicator nymphing we are noticing a significant interest in spey and euro nymphing techniques which is great to see especially when the rivers remain low and clear.
