The fishing has been outstanding over the past week, with plenty of fish being caught through nymphing. Anglers have also had success with dry flies during the early mornings and late evenings. Sam Nelley has made the most of the river's bounty, landing some truly stunning catches!
We've also received excellent reports from boat anglers out on the lake. The Bengal Tiger continues to be a favorite lure, while the black-and-silver Toby and silver-and-blue Toby have also been highly effective for trolling. When jigging, make sure to use smelt-pattern flies, as the smelting in the lake has been phenomenal over the past couple of weeks.
