A perfect day for fishing in Turangi today with the river looking absolutely stunning this morning. The small lift in flow coloured the river right up and for those who were keen enough to have a go the rewards were there for the taking with some cracking fish being landed. Remember the fish don't disappear from the river when it gets dirty, they are still there and they will still feed so changing approach and swinging big flies right into the edges will help increase your chances as shown below - Logan got into some cracking browns including this solid number in the dirty water.
