The Tongariro River Flow is quite high with this good lot of rain we should see some great fishing over the weekend so travel on down to Turangi and get your fish on!
Some mixed reports coming into the shop over the last couple of days with nymphing being quite the success for most anglers. Keeping flies natural & even some anglers having luck on the dry with lots of evening hatches being mentioned.

All photos put in this report was from Tuesday after work where I made my way up the Tongariro and fished one of my favourite pools I was originally using a caddis pattern managed to land one on that but nothing else, so I swapped to a stonefly pattern which seemed to do the trick.
