Tongariro River Flow: 25.3m3/sec
Weather: Cloudy with light winds. Heavy rain Forecasted for tomorrow which will hopefully bring up the fish waiting at the river mouths. Large numbers of fish are reported below the Tauranga Taupo bridge waiting to come up for spawning.
I have recently been fishing the Tongariro River with Alex nymphing through pools and coming out quite successful with a natural Hare & Copper with a red tungsten bead.
