Tongariro River Flow: 31.9m3/sec

Weather: Overcast with cold overnight temperatures ❄

We have finally had some good rain over the last few days! This brought the Tongariro flow up to 60 cumecs at its peak and has been dropping in flow to 31.9 cumecs where it is currently. Considering this is the most significant rain we have had all winter, in what has been drought conditions, now is the time to get over here! As of today, the fishing has been on fire with river levels now perfect and carrying that awesome green tinge colour. This increase in flow, plus the cold temps, are going to spur on a large number of fish in the lake to make their winter runs and should fill the river with fresh chrome 'bows. Get you mates together, grab some globugs and get after it 🤙
