Tongariro River Flow: 30.8m3/sec

Weather: It was a chilly start this morning but it's looking like sun and low wind for today 🌞

Some great reports of stunning fresh fish in the rivers have been flowing in the last couple of days while the Tongariro has been coloured. The other smaller rivers & streams have also been fishing amazing with lots of fresh fish making their way up the system.

***A reel has recently been found at the Whareroa Stream mouth a couple weeks ago and it is a high-quality reel so get in touch if it might be yours! A fly box has also been found on the lower TT a couple weekends back as well***

Some reports have also been coming of plenty of fish being caught on the lake trolling with Tassie devils and tobys, with pink seeming to be a successful colour.

Recently I have purchased a 9ft 6 weight Guideline Stoked for all the rivers around the region along with a Sage Lt Reel in the 5/6 which both looks stunning and feels amazing both being quite light and making my fishing so much easier. So, I ventured out the other day on the Tongariro & the Hinemaiaia & got stuck into some fish!

Tight Lines!
