Good Morning from the Sporting Life Crew

Yesterday the Central Plateau received some rainfall which has since cleared and is due to return Friday morning and set continue over the weekend, so we are expecting the low/clear waterways to colour up again which will perpetuate this amazing fishing going on 😀 Today the sun is pushing through and the Tongariro is flowing at 24.9m3/sec.

Shop Dad (Neil) is out there today and enjoying the day swinging olive buggers and sent us through a photo for the report.

Yesterday I took the double-hand gear out for the day and had a ball using rabbit style intruders I tied using materials from the shop (listed below). The Tongariro is currently low and very clear so I went for the olive rabbit and swung through fast runs mostly. A good mix of fresh and coloured up jacks which were aggressive on the takes and made for a very exciting day in the rain 😄
