Tongariro River Flow: 27.5m3/sec

Weather: Cold with clear skies 🌞

***A lost wading jacket has recently been found on the Tongariro and I believe its owner came into the shop looking for it a few days ago before it got turned in, hopefully we can get it back to you!***

The last week has presented us with continued fine yet cold weather, as such the Tongariro is sitting at a pretty low and clear position. However, there are certainly plenty of fish around for the catching. Many anglers have still been having most success on natural flies including on the smaller rivers such as the Hinemaiaia. The next couple of days have some rain showers forecast so this weekend could present some good fishing opportunities with fresh fish moving though. We have recently brought in a good number of different slushy materials to the shop so get in quick as they seem to be in hot demand!!
