Sporting Life - Turangi has been owner operated since opening it's doors in the Township of Turangi in 1968. We are the stockists of fishing tackle, specialising in the local lakes and rivers of the Central Plateau to the backcountry and wilderness rivers, lakes and oceans in New Zealand and around the world.

First and foremost, we are fly fishers, everyone in the team at Sporting Life Turangi is here because of fly fishing, we live it, we breathe it, we love it.

The Tongariro is our backyard but the world is our canvas to explore with a fly rod in hand. We specialise at Sporting Life - Turangi in Fly Fishing, we are good at it.

Because of this our team is able to get you geared up from the beginner angler through to the most experienced multi day adventurer.

There is a lot that has been covered off by this team and we invite you to pick their brains.
