Josh Hart - Sporting Life Fly Fishing Guide

Josh's thirst for fly fishing feels like a never ending obsession of exploration into all that is on offer as a fly fisher on the Centtal Plateau and it's surrounds and if you spend just a minute yarning with him about it you can see he loves every minute of his time on the water and the places it takes him.

In the summer you'll find Josh stalking big brown trout in the backcountry with dry flies or light nymphs, come winter nymphing for the multitude of rainbows that make their run on the tributaries of the Great Lake Taupo takes centre stage along with swinging streamers with a sinking line or single hand spey setup chasing the tug.

Josh has been an outdoor instructor and educator for most of his life. His true passion is being able to share his knowledge and experience with people in an outdoor environment.

Currently in the process of membership with the New Zealand Professional Fishing Guides Association you will be glad you spent time on the water with Josh.
