S-2000 graphite is a new construction for Winston and is a high modulus carbon fiber material with a higher strain rate resin that works to generate efficient line speed and a quick recovery rate. To increase lift and ensure your cast is smooth yet provides power, Winston gives their Air 2 a Boron butt section. Freshly redesigned for the first time in years, the Air 2 has a new Boron configuration that combines with the S-2000 graphite to give excellent transfer of energy and accurate casting whether the target is ten or eighty feet away. And with a classic Winston green color, the Air 2 looks as good in hand as it feels.
